Angie is a therapy dog who comes into the library and lets kids read to her so that kids who are struggling with reading can gain confidence. Every time I’ve seen her in the library she’s always wagging her tail for the kids and is very attentive.

Collages I made last night!

powertorecover:

Avo bought me another beautiful sketchbook and a set of colored pencils last week. They color in so smoothly compared to the other pack I had!

I love doodling as a distraction. It is very therapeutic to create your own characters, or doodling your favorite ones from other artists. I encourage many people to doodle as a coping skill when they need to distract themselves from engaging in negative behaviors. It gives you something positive to focus on and artwork to admire afterwards!
My favorite is pleasestopbeingsad. The above doodle is inspired by one of her pieces of work. :)

So remember, don’t be too hard on yourself. Whatever you may be doing, you are always enough.

New coping skill: on body negative nights, nights when I can’t manage to think about how far I’ve come and the progress I’ve made, take super cute pictures of my tummy and remind myself over and over again that she’s downright adorable.

I’m fighting a really tough battle right now, but, tummy, it’s not your fault. You’re super cute and I love you.

the thing is literally NO ONE cares if u dont think leggings count as pants. no one. no one cares. everyones gonna keep wearing them as pants. theyre pants. no one cares what u think

This is false you should only wear leggings as shirts and hats and scarves because leggings aren’t for your legs

leggings arent for your legs. leggings are for my legs. my beautiful legs

These are a pair of onesies. For infants. One reads “i’m just a cupcake looking for my stud muffin” and the other reads “girls dig chubby guys”. Heteros really need to stop trying to force their lifestyle on children.

People are really creepy about pushing heterosexuality on babies in general. Like “oh, he loves to smile at girls, he’s such a flirt” and “What a pretty little girl; your daddy is going to have to beat the boys away with a stick”
Like can you not even wait for your infants to gain control of their neck muscles before you start pushing your sexual preferences on them?

oh my gosh this this this this this
so much
it makes me so uncomfortable

The sexism too though…the one for baby girls is “I want a boy” while the one for baby boys is “girls want me” it’s so weird
